To kick off last Saturday’s Creative Jam, I lead you through a visualization about your inner lanterns…then we made some drawings and wrote our way out from this center…

& Ohhhhhh how your poetry is lighting up my heart!!

Now—

I intended to have that video replay edited and uploaded by now, but the Zoom footage is haunted and has crashed my computer roughly 2,674 times…..so… Clearly, the magic we made together requires some more powerful containment!

Gettin’ this figured out— But, I thought….okayyyyyyy…. how else can I share some of that poetic energy with you today instead?

(*This ended up being a great excuse to test new ways of blending hand-inked text with my audio & animation work. I’m excited to tell stories in increasingly hybrid forms…Is this the kind of thing you’d like to see more of? Does this .gif + soundscape thing work for you? General thoughts on hybridity & the nature of the grotesque also accepted. )
